And I'm talking German made, not Rockbass. Was just curious if it's possible to get close to both a Jazz Bass sound and a Stingray H sound, since you are able to isolate the bridge humbucker or use both humbuckers, but in single coil mode.
I have German $$ and appreciate it for aggressive growl, quite different and deeper than my 5 string Stingrays (I like them, as well) and quite different than JB that I have, as well. You do not buy $$ to replace JB or Stingray, although all of them play low notes and to degree are similar instruments.
Reason why 10-15 basses are usually necessary to neutralize hunger (I have 7 Warwicks and they serve different purposes, or beloved and nothing excessive).
I miss my German $$!
It was one of THE most versatile basses I've ever owned, and Warwick quality is the highest.
The Balance control will "default" to J-Bass type tone when emphasizing the bridge pup, the rest inc. sounding like a 'Ray is accomplished by tweaking the onboard eq and of course adjusting your your amp.
But why "try" to emulate those basses? The Corvette$$ has an amazing character of its own.
LOTS of tone possibilities in that bass.
