I am in dire need of something to hang my bass on at gigs. I would like something that mounts directly to my rack with screws. The only thing I've seen like this is the Wallacher WR1. This thing has received some mixed reviews, as I guess they may have used cheap plastic parts for it. Also, cant find a single retailer that still carries the item, and the Wallacher website doesn't exactly look up to date. I would love to find something essentially just like this item. It mounts to the rack, it can pivot inwards so you can put the rack lids on. Something with no fuss and super easy. It seems mind blowing to me that with all of the guitar accessories in the world that I can't find a good option for this. Help, TalkBass!

Do you know a welder? With some 5/16 inch all thread and two rod coupling nuts you could whip one out in 1/2 an hour. If you wanna get fancy use smooth 5/16 rod and thread the ends. There seems to be enough interest in this sort of thing that you could sell'em here too. With a slight mod they could even be made to mount on the side of a cabinet (4 mounting holes instead of two). Add velcro around the arm to hold it flat against the cab during transport.
