Been playing my back up DB for outdoor gigs. Its developed a bit of a rattle on the d-string tuner. Ive tightened down all the screws. Any ideas on a quick and easy DIY fix?
Try a heavy rubberband capturing the 2 adjacent tuner stems. You might just have a sloppy tuner.Any ideas on a quick and easy DIY fix?

Good Luck.
If it is a flat stamped steel cloverleaf or 'lollipop' button, I place a drop of thin superglue right at the junction of the shaft and button. Let it flow in, and it should work. Loctite might work as well, but most households already have a tube of thin superglue or 'Crazy glue' available.Pic of the tuner? Is it a stamped clover leaf type pressed into a split shaft? If so, those can loosen and your grief maybe solved as simply as a small drop of Loctite.
Yes. If it’s a split metal post that the flat button is pressed into, squeezing the post is risky. If it is a flat stamped steel cloverleaf or 'lollipop' button, I place a drop of thin superglue right at the junction of the shaft and button.
