Recommended flatwounds?

Hi guys.

Looking to buy some flatwounds for the first time. Generally stick with medium-gauge roundwounds but looking to try something else. Don't have a huge budget and looking for flats to suit 50s/60s/70s soul, jazz, blues etc..

Any recommendations would be great, thanks in advance.

GHS P Flats are my first suggestion to most as well. You can get them in any scale, which is great for me as short scale is half of what I own and play 90% of the time.

For a slightly brighter, punchy tone, but still all of the characteristics of a flat and if you have a 34" scale... I say try a set of Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats. I love them.
