Redirect to a different page?

Mozilla Firefox 6.0 user here. I get a message that most pages here are attempting to redirect to another page. Can anyone explain that? I'm assuming it's ads and such, but really, is that necessary?

I use FF6. I'm not getting the redirect messages. But, I run a full tinfoil hat of extensions, including:

Redirect cleaner
Noscript
Ghostery
Trackmenot.
Betterprivacy
ad-block+

Guess none of the "powers that be" care to comment. Back door redirects suck.
