For those what bass do I need for reggae threads. Here is a YouTube screenshot from a 1981 Burning Spear show. The bass player is playing a left-handed Ric turned upside down and played righty.

That should be Anthony Bradshaw who later played guitar with Burning Spear on a few albums, including the legendary "Live in Paris".

This is proof that you can play any genre of music on a Ric! They're such versatile basses. All you have to do is twist some knobs and use the pickup selector to get away from the Chris Squire/Geddy Lee tone that many associate Rics with.
