RH450 vs Trace Elliot vtype 5001

Looking for opinions on either amp.

Is the RH 450 an SMX, SM, Series 6? All of those amps sound HI-FI compared to the V-Type. The V-Type has a very old school sound. If you're looking to buy used, have a good tech go over the V-Type. Mine had previously burned up due to the mosfets not being in contact with the heat sink. Not the greatest design, but I love the sound of it.

The rh450 is not Hi-Fi sounding at all. It's asn old school mid forward sounding amp
