hello. I have a 4001c64s McCartney reissue drom early 2000 sounds great with flatwounds but i discovered that the horseshoe reissue bridge pickup's poles has the E string one slightly too low so the E strings has slighly less volume than the others. I am not very good in self repairs but anyone knows if that poles are adjustable? THANKS

Is the G string's magnet lower, too? Here is a photo of one of the RI HS PUs I have had that shows the magnets reasonably well.

Your shoes are the ones that are angled up; I did that on both of mine to gain more clearance for the strings under the shoes.

You will note that both the E and G magnets are lower in relation to the A and D magnets; this is by design to help with string-to-string balance, volume-wise.
