Rickenbacker 4003 or Yamaha Attitude III for dual output?

I am looking at the Yamaha basses. Primarily because of the quality of manufacture and the dual output. Any users out there compare the Yamaha Attitude with the 4003? Yes I am a Ric lover, but I would like a different low end. Is the cost of the Yamaha justified?
