Double Bass Right-hand fingering options across two adjacent strings?

Looking at the three triplets at the start of this Berklee jazz bass exercise, would you use strictly alternating right-hand fingers (1,2,1,2, etc., which can make for awkward finger crossings), or 1,2,1, 1,2,1, etc., which seems slower to execute, or 1,2,2, 1,2,2, 1,2,2 (finger-sliding the 2d finger)?

Or does it simply depend on the phrasing/emphasis you're after?

I would say your second option is optimal. At least if the tempo is medium or faster.
 
My first stab at this line, i did it all with my first finger. No need to engage the middle finger for this one unless this is meant to be played at a fast tempo. If it is fast, i agree with Chris.
