I have read lots of good reviews on this amp and folks seem to suggest that it is a good sounding amp and fairly powerful for its size and price. I am looking for a small/light rehearsal amp to leave in my Jeep as I am in the rehearsal season with a few bands and am really looking for something I can use without lugging my gigging amps around. Anyone have any experience with this amp?

I have been using the Rumble 100 for both practice and gigs. Mind you the drummer is not particularly loud. Jlepre and the internet tell me that the Rumble 100 doesn't keep up with a loud band.

I played a show in a small room (maybe 50 people) with a Rumble 100 only. The sound guy's equipment wasn't working. This was with a drummer and electric guitarist. The Rumble performed admirably. I don't remember exactly but the gain and master volume were probably both at about noon. Master may have been a bit higher, perhaps 1 o'clock. In other words there was still plenty of volume left in the amp!

In this picture you can see the Rumble 100 behind me. The guitarist is using some sort of smallish amp. And if you look closely there is also Rumble 40 on the far left! The theremin located in front of the guitarist was going into the 40.

I have three Rumbles - 25, 100 and 500. You can practice with the 100 unless your drummer and guitarist insist on playing insanely loud in practice. You should be able to play very small venues with the 100 - I've done that. For larger spaces I bring my 500, sometimes with an extension cab.

The weight for either one is light - 22lbs for the 100 and 36lbs for the 500. Quite a difference from the '70s when I carried a 40lb amp and a 130lb cabinet.

Enjoy it for the short time it will be in your Jeep.

Well I got it and it sounds pretty good. Its a great match with my AVRI 63 P for sure. Looks great and it stupid light. Gonna take it to a rehearsal tomorrow. My drummer and guitar player are not loud so I feel confident this will be a perfect rehearsal amp. I am just getting old and lazy and it is easier to have a smaller lighter amp for rehearsals and that way I can leave my gigging rigs loaded. Who'd a thunk I would have purchased three FENDER bas amps in a months time. But if it works it works.
