Practice is the cure for GAS...or so I've heard.

Since I didn't find any updates on here or their IG yet, I went a Googling and found this:

NAMM 2018: Sterling By Music Man Reveal 2018 Line Up

To me it looks like they're re-releasing the Classic and calling it a Classic Stingray, but with the slimmer SLO neck (probably due to the popularity of the SUB Ray4 and it's thinner neck).

It also looks like the SUB Ray4 is now just being called the StingRay.

It seems they have gotten rid of the Ray34/35 and SUB Ray4 names all together. However, I don't see anything on the 3band Eq front.

I am disappointed there are no SBMM Cutlass or Caprice basses. Sad to me since they have released SBMM Cutlass guitars previously. IMO the best way to cultivate a fan base is to offer your designs at every price point imaginable (ala Fender/Squire). It's nice to see some of the other long-time EBMM Guitar players getting some love in the SBMM line like Luke, Lee, and St. Vincent to join Petrucci and Valentine.

Thanks for posting this. I've been looking everywhere for this. I'll be honest, I'm disappointed too. I expected more from them. @SBMM hinted at some new stuff coming out but I somehow expected it to be more than just a slight refresh.

The pricing of EBMM and SBMM has always seemed odd to me. There budget line has a budget line. It's weird. For the price I've always been more impressed with the SBMM SUBs than the SBMMs.

I agree, I have had a few SUBs and they provide a great bass at a low cost. I'd rather save up and get the EBMM next instead of the 800 SBMM.
