Scale length question (warning: guitar photo)

Hard to tell from the pictures, they may have left the scale the same and replaced a bigsby tailpiece / bridge combo with a "stop" bridge. If they had a nice square-on picture from the front, we could tell by comparing distances, but they're all weirdly angled.
 
I just came across this Reverb listing and it looks to me like the scale length of this non-bass instrument has been modified. I'm curious how an instrument like this could even be intonated with the bridge moved up by several inches. Or am I just imagining that it has a re-positioned bridge?

With all the hackjob mods and odd pic angles you're imagining it.
The three screws behind the bridge are from something else.
