Something fishy going on, based on an email I received about 30 minutes ago. I have already checked my credit card and paypal accounts (no withdrawals or payments, fortunately), and I emailed the company and tried calling them (not the number here - the number when I google the company). Beware (the "arrange collection" part is the most ridiculous). Oh, and I have not bought a bass or guitar from England (as far as I know - I have too many already!).
Here's the email (and attached is a screenshot of it from my computer):
Hello
Many thanks for your recent special order.
Your guitar is due for delivery from our supplier end January
I would therefore estimate this to be with you wk commencing 23rd January.
Once it has arrived, we will be in touch to arrange collection.
I trust this is acceptable and any issues please do not hesitate to get back in touch with us
