Hey Guys, Im in Seattle all this week and looking for any sessions/jams/hangs/bass & guitar shops. Love to check out some luthier shops play some instruments. Been to H.A (great guys), but gonna be stuck in downtown area via public/bike transportation.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I'm sorry I didn't fall by the O&T when I was there, having too much fun swapping lies with Chris Symer and Troy Kendrick at that little joint downstairs at the Market.
Next time!

That's because my lies are a beautiful tapestry of 1/2 truths and folklore wrapped in a crispy outer-layer of futuristic imagery with one foot firmly in the tradition.

The O&T is the place to be tonight for sure. I might be open to meeting you there if you're going, but you'll be with your people either way. Full be the bar at the Triple Door earlier, not sure who or what is there, but it's a reasonable bet on most nights. There is always a session or a hang somewhere, I'm a little bit out of the loop, though.

Check out Jazz alley. It's a world class jazz club, and inexpensive by Seattle standards. Lee Ritenour is there this weekend. Melvin Davis is on bass who is amazing but electric. There is a Jazz club Tula's, its nice to see a jazz show there.
It you can get out of Downtown make an appointment with the Bass Church to check out a few basses. She has the best selection of Upright basses in this part of the world. If you like electric basses check out The Seattle bass shop. It's a quick uber ride from Downtown, in West Seattle. Looks like a nice weekend to be here.
