Hello esteemed members of this distinguished accumulation of rabbit holes!

I'm putting together my pedalboard again after like a year of going back and forth between tinkering and neglecting and now I've confirmed my fear about switching between the OLYMPIC's input and fx-return. When putting an AB-switch in front, A going to the input, B going to the fx-return, all remains silent when switching to A. Is there any way to make this work? I guess I need to kinda bridge fx-send -> fx-return when going into OLYMPIC's input but having a plug in the fx-return. No idea how to accomplish that.

Guess I will need to Do some soldering.

Kinda AB-switch with additional connectors for fx-send and fx-return.

Input | out to preamp input | C to send | D to return |

C & D connected when signal is routed to preamp input

C & D not connected when signal goes to D

If you take the send from a loop on the A/B to the Olympic input, send from the Olympic back to the return of the A/B then plug the output of the A/B to the return of the Olympic.

Unless I’ve totally misunderstood.

Thank you sir!

This meaning that e.g. loop A of the olympic would be my olympic pre and loop b would be whatever i want to use instead if I've undstood correctly. Neat solution, need to get a bigger pedalboard :). Which leads to the need to fill out the empty spaces which leads to :hyper:

Aye you could just connect a patch lead from send to return of the other loop if you just wanted a clean bypass of the preamp. I don’t know why you’d do that though when there are so many exciting pedals to try!

No need for a clean bypass. A beta bass clone and a TS-50 clone are already competing for the job and ther's a nobelium about to be mailed.
