Last year I sent a low dollar pedal to a buyer in Oregon, his address seemed legit as was his PayPal account. I sent it to xxxxx Airport Way in Portland OR. 1 week later he contacted me and asked if I shipped it; I sent him the tracking number. Upon checking, the package was held up at the local post office because the address/store front, was closed ....vacant.
Recently I received 2 offers on my 2 DI pedals in the TB classifieds. The potential buyers are members of TB, but have no transaction history and both have Portland addresses. I checked the both addresses and it seems they are both vacant. They assured me that they are legit and are exporting gear to China. Anyone experience this, I smell a scam.
