So, I've noticed that the hair on my bow has turned a bit yellowish. I've noticed a little bit of an "empty" space in the middle where the hair has been lost. I always knew that the horse hair was bleached, however, I didn't mind it because I wasn't playing professionally. Should I get it re haired?

How old is the hair? I rehair bows and they sound a lot better afterwards. I know this is an old question. The hair I get is not bleached. Lyn Hanning sells it. She was my instructor and can tell you what is best to purchase. She buys it, looks at it and if it is not best quality sends it back.
