Should i send my Fender to their repair centre?

Hello,

A few weeks ago i ordered a Fender Elite V from Thomann. The bass was beautifull playing and setup, but it was noisy so i returned it and ordered antoher one, a 4 strings version.
This one have only half the problems, it buzzing only on the bridge pickup, if i use just the neck there is no buzz. It's clearely a shielding problem because the noise stops when i touch any metal part of the bass.
I talked to Fender customer service and they told me to contact their office in Europe (i am from Romania) to have it inspected.
What do you say, should i send it to them or should i try to shield it myself?...

The change from 5- to the 4-string version was a personal preference, right? I hope it wasn't due to the problem.
Talk with Thomann; they have very good customer service, I am sure they are going to fix it for you.

The 4 string version was my prefference.
I talked to Thomann do file the nut and put new strings on for me.
What bothers me is the fact that i specifically told them to check for noise/shielding problems which obviously didn't happened
