Like the title suggests, I want to see pictures of small tight boards. I own a pedaltrain junior and find it large to move around but I do anyway because I use everything in it for my sabbath tribute gig and some synth rap stuff I'm starting.

However for my punkska band its overkill. Im planning on getting or building a second board and I don't plan on using much more than 3 effects (at most) and for very little of the songs covered. Overdrive that can double as mild distortion, envelope filter and maybe chorus. Are there pedal power supplies smaller than the standard that powers 8 or 9 pedals?

Here's my main board which won't change by the way. I want something atleast half in size in weight, maybe a third would be ideal.

Suggestions and pics please...

I've gone down a similar route - got a larger board for my main funk / jazz covers gig, and a smaller board (of pedals that were on the main board once upon a time) for a trio I play with, or for when the big board isn't needed. I run direct to a poweramp, hence the preamp on each board.

Larger board is a Pedaltrain Jr:

Smaller board is a Pedaltrain Nano:

I power both of these with a 1-spot - might do you for your smaller board?

^ Beat me to it.

Google is your friend OP!

Here are two good threads that deeal with Pedaltrain minis and nanos:

Nano thread

Mini thread

I was inspired by the mini thread to make a PT mini sized board work for me. Lots of great ideas and examples in there.

Thanks for the thread links... will be doing some looking and reading.

Battery powered board via 8 Sanyo Low Discharge Rate Eneloop AA 2500mah cells. I also keep a Hosa Daisey Chain Adapter and 1-Spot adapter as a backup. Not that I'll ever need it, but there's room so why not. Egg-crate foam on lid to keep everything secured. I've never trusted Velcro alone, even the heavy duty type. RoadRage bypass because I hate tone-suck. Yes, everything has to stay "ON" but that's not a concern at all. And yes, that IS a Tamiya lead with a 9-volt plug.

Thanks for the pics, Keels.

Get rid of those big arse pedal couplers, and replace that Valve Drive with a MultiDrive or something, and you can fit those same pedals on a board half that size!
