Hi! Wondering if what would be the best signal path for my setup. Before I purchased the M80, I only used the MS-60B because it simulates the M80 (also love the filters and comp too) but was planning on going all analog so the MS-60B had to go but I miss all the effects and the really great tuner I get with the MS-60B and now I'll be planning to just use both while gigging. I mostly play Red Hot Chili Peppers songs and similar sounding tunes composed by our band. Can't test both out yet because I have yet to order a daisy chain cable. Thanks!

Signal Chain Recommendation for MXR M80 and Zoom MS-60B

Since the M80 is a preamp and DI it would make most sense to place it after the MS-60B, almost regardless what you use the MS60B for, maybe with exception of if you exclusively use your MS60B for amp/cab simulation or the M80 exclusively as dirt unit.
As a general guideline preamps are always placed last in the chain, right before your signal goes into an amp or PA.

I miss my M80. 
but I do use the M80 sim on my B3. It sounds very close to me?You can even have the distorted M80 sim on the Zoom but with the colour switch disengaged if needed.

Thanks! Another question, will the M80 affect my mids? I always set the M80's color switch engaged because I like the tone that is coming out from the output. I am planning to use the Boss-modeled EQ on the MS-60B to switch to a tone that may be great (to be configured) but I'm worried about the mids getting cut at all by the M80.

It will depend on the venue I'm sure. The color switch does take a good hunk out of the mids. Using the Graphic EQ pedal sim(or the PARA eq sim) on the Zoom you should be able to mix and match to your hearts content.

Although there are no rules set in stone regarding effect order, there are certain guidelines that usually are desirable to follow, depending on what it is you are trying to achieve.
I would advice you to use this signal path instead:
Dual Comp> Bass Octave > BassAutoWah > BassGraphicEQ
The reason being that octavers (and pitchshifters in general) need as clean a signal as possible in order to able to track your notes sufficiently (the octaver need to analyze which pitch you are playing and then transform that to an octave lower) and the BassAutoWah before it will most likely confuse it, mess that up and make it glitchy, whereas the compressor will help make the signal going into the octaver more even.

Like I said I have a B3 but I picked up the Gallien Krueger Plex preamp about a month ago and I haven't been using the B3 much lately, but I still enjoy it.

With the MS60B, go with the Bass Pitch over the Bass Octave. The tracking is much better and you won't need the compressor unless you want it. Try the auto wah after the pitch shift. Two good quick funk presets are Bass Pitch -> Bass Auto Wah and Bass Pitch -> A Filter.
Wow, I didn't expect that. I always thought a preamp would be more for buffering the signal coming from the instrument. Maybe this is why I have problems with effects. Where can I go to find out more about this?

Some notes on signal chains with Zoom products (I have a G3, MS-50G, and now an MS-60B).
Zoom's pres are hissy, so for passives I either front-end it with an M80, or cut the highs with EQ, (I cut, less messy).
For heavy EQ (I use it for a low cut), I need the compressor after the EQ to get decent string balance (low-cut after the comp killed the B string). For minor EQ order probably doesn't matter.
I also find that for passives I need to boost the signal before it hits the compressor.
On the zoom I use:
booster > PEQ > GEQ > compressor.
If I wasn't cutting the highs, I would drop the booster and use the M80 to front-end it instead.
