Bought a Sire Marcus Miller V7 and I realy dont like the active electronics in this bass, when I turn on the active side the bass it is slitly less volume/output that the passive side is this normal with your V7?
hmm, normal would be for active to be slightly louder. There's a trimpot on the side of the preamp you can use to balance active vs. passive output - it's a small blue cube with a white dial with a cross on one side - tweak it with a small screwdriver until active and passive balance the way you prefer. Sorry you don't like the active sounds, that's unusual.

I had a similar issue as the overall output was really low. I tried it on a bose L1 and on an acoustic combo b200 as well as a practice amp b20. I had to turn both the amp and guitar volume all the way up to get a good sound. I was almost ready to give up on it until I saw this post I made the suggested adjustment now it sounds great thanks.
