Double Bass So. Cal. Luthier for Appraisal

Hello,

I'm new to this site, so I apologize if this topic has been brought up before. I recently acquired a double bass made by my dad and wanted to get it appraised for insurance purposes. I am looking for a luthier or other suitable appraiser in Southern California (ideally near Corona, CA) to appraise my double bass.

If anyone can assist me with the process, I would greatly appreciate it.

Metzler Violins in Glendale, CA. (Kind of a Schlep for you, but worth it, IMO.) Or, Los Angeles Bass Works - in LA, (near Downtown LA), maybe a bit closer to you.

Edit: Metzler Violins in Glendale noted that they no longer handle individualized appraisals. I've reached out to LA Bass Works for their feedback on the matter.

Thanks for the feedback Don and Louis. I ended up taking it to LA Bass Works and getting an appraisal done by Lisa Gass.
