I’ve always wanted one of these gorgeous 4” Moody straps but could never justify the money for one (turns out it’s really nice). So the wifey comes through with the killer birthday gift! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Congrats! Good job on your wife selection; sounds like a keeper. Happy Birthday! I have just in the last couple years started spending $80 or more on wide straps. They really do a great job with weight distribution and you will notice much less fatigue, especially when playing long periods.

Funny this thread got resurrected. So I'll update... the strap has aged nicely. It is so soft and comfortable. Really works well for longer sets. Definitely my #1 strap. My close 2nd is my Scotts Bass Lessons black leather padded strap. Also aging nicely and super comfy. :thumbsup:

Congratulations! I love these straps! My first was an Alembic branded Moody (which I've had now for 18 years and it's still going strong). I have an alert on eBay for them and have them now on most of my basses. Nothing comes close, although they can be hard to get on a strap button when they are new.
