Hi there,
Does anyone happen to have a transcription of the Miles Davis tune 'So What' from Bass Player Magazine Nov 2006 that they're willing to share?? I'm interested in the BP transcription as I also want to see what they wrote and how they analysed the tune.
I've got plenty of BP mags from that era but unfortunately not that issue.

BP Nov 2006 contains a two page article on Miles Davis / Paul Chambers "So What." The article is brief, one half page of type, but informative. The main 8 bar riff, only, is transcribed. It is not a complete transcription of the entire tune.

I have the two page article scanned and would be glad to share it if you want to send me a PM.

I also have Hal Leonard's attempt to transcribe "So What" as it was recorded on Kind Of Blue by Miles, Adderley, Coltrane, Evans and Chambers- full band transcription, except Cobb, percussion is not scored.
