Ever get tired of the looks of a particular bass in your collection?

Try a pick guard change. Way less expensive than getting a new bass.
It can give you a new perspective on an old friend.

I had the blue pearl on this Jazz for a few years, which replaced the original plain white.
Just tonight I swapped it for the red pearl. Kinda gives it a new attitude and vibe. Simple.
All cosmetic of course, but a new or different pick guard can make you feel as though you've got a new bass. Jackie approves.

I like that red! Nice new look. Sometimes how you feel about a bass can totally change how you play it. Sounds silly, but even the things that don't totally change the sound of the bass can make your approach to it different.
