Source Audio Kingmaker - Under powered a digital pedal?

Hi all,

Hoping I could get some help or maybe some attention from a manufacturer rep. I recently picked up a second hand Source Audio Kingmaker. Had a blast toying with it hooked up to my laptop and using the supplied wall wort.

Then I thought, let's try these presets on my pedal board for live setting.. and poof. No more effects (even upon returning to OEM wort). Thinking this was caused by underpowering it as the power supply was limited to 100mA (recommended is 150mA). LEDs still work, and it registers in the Neuro Desktop App still. Am I out of luck? Will SA repair it for me?

If you can connect to the old version of Neuro, you can try executing a factory reset, to see if that can bring it back. Or perhaps it will allow you to re-install the firmware. Good luck

Thankfully this worked (0.8 software + firmware reload)! Back in business, thank you! Hopefully this thread will help others.

Now.. question is, will the pedal be happy with the 500mA output on my Donner power supply. It has done well with my NuX MG-30. Any thoughts?

Electrical devices only use as many amps as they need. As long as your supply has enough amps (and is providing the correct voltage) you are good.
