Stacked knobs on an eb3?

I am a relative wiring newbie so forgive the question but are there any issues with using 2 stacked concentric knobs on an eb3 bass? I was thinking of doing it with or without a 3way toggle. Any insight would be much appreciated.

I cant think of an issue with this. It should be the same as wiring up an old jazz. There are plenty of schematics for this online, and quite a few threads about it (the concentric knob wiring, that is).

There is an issue I can think of...typical stacked pots like those intended for jazz basses, are installed in a pickguard or control plate. Gibson basses have the pots installed in the body, so they use long-shaft pots for those. I don't know if there are long-shaft stack-knob pots. Remove one of your pots from your EB-3 and measure the length of the threaded portion on the pot. See if there are stack pots with the same length shaft.
