STINGRAY 5 ONLY SOUND WITH 3 WAY SWITCH IN NECK POSITION

i have an 01 stingray 5...great sound with switch in neck position, almost nothing with it in middle position, nothing at all with it in bridge position. opened it up, didnt seem to be anything miswired (looked up a diagram) new battery. any ideas?

Hit the switch with some good contact cleaner and work it back and forth a few times. If this doesn't work, desolder the pickup and test it and the switch with a multimeter. You may need to remove the pickup because I'd think it'll be a triple coil. If the pickup is fine, replace the switch. Or vice versa. Or possibly both I guess, but unlikely.
