Tuners, logo, paint, back cavity cover.
What's up with this?

A music store near me has had the four string version for sale for quite a while. I was actually somewhat tempted by it.

So a departure, but legit. Never thought that paint job would leave the factory.

It could just be the picture resolution making it look crummy. I've seen a number of early 90's Fenders with that sort of blue-on-black look. I'm not an expert by any means, but it looks like some of the things I've seen. The ones I've seen in person were pretty nice.
