Hi there,
Luthier changed my problematic bridge and the new one is adjustable for height.
I like to set string height in the low side, ideally 6 to 10.
I brought down G to 6 or 6.5 mm where any point below that the buzz starts to show. The E side is brought down to about 10.5.
A is sitting at around 9 and D is sitting around 8.5.
I thought I bring it up to see if this arrangement is ok. i originally thought the bridge profile could be tweaked to bring down the D string height but the luthier says he followed the template to accommodate bowing regardless of the fingerboard curvature.
What do you think?
Should I leave it?
Or
Is it ok to adjust the bridge minimally to bring D down a bit without causing bowing issue?
Or does the fingerboard require some adjustment?
Thanks,
Arya
