I have an opportunity to buy a beautiful PJ bass, made by "Strings and Things", out of Memphis.
I've done a cpl hours of research, and have found relatively little. They were made during the 80's, but then were reissued in the early 2000's. I'm trying to figure out which this bass is.
The design with the binding only on the front of the bass, and the serial number etched on the neck plate all match the 80's style, but I've found no description of the reissues, so don't know if they were the same. It is in flawless condition which makes me think newer, but if it is older, then it is a gem of a find, as I've heard they were top notch quality wise.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!
