SVT 4Pro Custom Case

I love my SVT 4Pro. But I don’t love the weight. And add in a rack case and it’s pushing 85 lbs. I’m getting too old for that. Has anyone found a 3U or built a wooden 3U case for there’s? I really want to use mine more and the weight is holding me back.

Back in 2007, myself and several others on here answered this very question here: Racks for SVT-4 Pro

The 4 PRO weighs 42lbs on its own and adding a rack (even if it is super light) is just adding to your biggest issue, weight. For me, I felt the 7 PRO and anything from the PF series sounds pretty darn close to the 4 PRO without all of the weight. When the band kicks in, I don't think I could even tell if I was playing the 4 PRO or one of the other heads through the same cabinet. I heard just about the same tone in the end. Have you tried the PF800?
