SVT impedance question

Hey guys just a quick question. I've always used cabs with matching impedance so I've never put much thought into mixing it up. I currently run a SVT-CL through an old ampeg B25 215 cab (4ohms). I also have two 210 cabs (8ohms each). I know that all 3 cabs would be 2 ohm load. Can I use this set up if I run the SVT in 2ohm mode? Just wasn't sure how to run it if it was possible. Could I put the 210 cabs in the two quarter inch out puts and the 215 in the speak on out?

Daisy chain em all. . Or plug the 215 into one and daisy chain the 210s from the other speaker out. As long as the amp is set to two ohms should all be ok. Listen it for the 210s tho. Going real loud or real bassy could over stress them - no matter what the specs state.

Thanks man. Think I will try Daisy chaining the 210's and running the 215 in the other output.

That’s an awful lot of stuff to be carrying around. Do you really need it all?

No I don't lol... this is short term thankfully. We are currently in the middle of getting a new drummer up to speed so this is just in our rehearsal space. I'm in the market for a new cab. The 215 has tones of power and bass but I've found with the bass's I'm using now I need a little more high end. Looking into a 410 but I need one that handles a 5 string. Any suggestions lol

This is about to sound ********, and it really is on my part. By Daisy chaining you mean, speaker cable from amp to cab (8x10e) to the fill range speakon the use the other speakon (on the right side) to run a cable to the other cab? I cannot explain why, but I've never done this. I always just run 2 cables off amp, dunno why. Now that said, I'm running a stereo head that will go down to 2ohm per side but I only run 1 8x10 per side. If I Daisy chain the cabs will that make it a 2ohm load?

Why not just add a top box for your highs? Dragging around a 4x10 as a mid/tweeter is a bit crazy! :D

A 410 will not necessarily have more high-end than your 215.

You typed "B25" as the model of your cab. That's a guitar cabinet. Did you mean B25B?

What exactly are you looking for in a new cabinet that you're not getting out of what you have?
