PF 350 for sure! It's a warmer, more Ampeg-sounding head. The SVT 350H is a different animal and in my experience, does not have a lot of the Ampeg warmth. It sounds very cold to my ears - lack of warmth, grindy, missing some body to the tone, just ewwww. If you have a chance, try both of them and pick the one you like. There are several on here that love the 350H.

Unfortunately the PF amps dont last very long.

The 350H and the 450H are fine.
People have been bagging on those amps since they came out.
The have plenty of EQ and power.
Work fine.
Perfect match and fit for the classic line cabinets
From what I remember the foot cups drop right in.

Nailed it, the Ampeg 350H would be a good fit for the OPs set up. I toured with one across the US back in 2012 paired with a Ampeg PR410HLF and it never let me down. It can sound a bit sterile but I think most amps do with no effects, a preamp or eq will improve the tone.

Its all very funny.

Another fun 350 watt was the SVT III.
Was a Bjt amp not mosfet.
Sounds great really

Not A stale thing about it.

The 350H already has a preamp lol.
It has 3 band EQ and a 9 band slider EQ
Im not exactly sure what more you would need as a player.

Are they bad amps? No. They're fine amps if you take them on their own merit. But when I plug into them or any from that series of heads, they just don't sound like what I'd expect an Ampeg to sound like. That was done on purpose, as SLM wanted an Ampeg that didn't sound like an Ampeg to capture more market share from bassists who don't usually like Ampeg. But I love the trad Ampeg vibe and it's all I seek out of amps and always has been. For me the PF series has it and the SLM era B heads and their SVT equivalents don't.
