SX vintage series neck - Clockwise to tighten double action truss rod?

Double action trussrods vary in design but it you want to reduce relief (tightening a conventional single rod) generally you would turn counter clock.

if you aren't sure just use a tuner. from the playing position: neck arches back, pitch goes up. neck dips forward, pitch goes down.
