Mixed cabs, I KNOW! When I saw that Micheal League uses a 410 and 4x8 configuration I knew it would be good. It is.

Also gives you a place to put your beer without having to bend over.

I’ve used my Acme B2 2x10s in a vertical stack for many years now. they sound great that way and I can hear them better. It also gets my amplifier control panel closer to eye level.

i will agree that getting what you're playing closer to your ear = the way to go. i also agree with https://www.talkbass.com/members/old-garage-bander.274006/ about the beer thing. ha!
