I'm looking for a new combo amp and my choices have come down to these two. The TC Electronic BG250 112 and the GK MB112. I was fortunate to be able to try them both out at my local GC. Both are really nice amps, super light. Thought the GK had a more natural sound if that makes sense.
The TC has that whole tone print feature where you can download different effects from your smartphone. While a cool feature that doesn't sound like something I'd use that often. I do like the fact that the GK is more easily expandable. What do you guys think?

Sounds like you've already figured it out.

I also considered a TC when I was amp shopping.
My perception of the two is that GK has better build quality.

The Tone Print feature on the TC is really cool, but in the long run any pedals you might buy, even just a multi-effects pedal will stay with you if/when you change amps. You may not feel the need to have any pedals with the TC.
When I was amp shopping, pedals/effects were not really on my radar. Though later on I did pick up a multi-effects box.

When I was shopping for amps, it finally came down to the Fender Rumble vs GK.
I got the Rumble on this go-round, but wouldn't hesitate on a GK next time.

In my experience the bg250 is simply not a good sounding amp, with that being said is did still buy a bg250 2x8 combo. The natural sound of it really isn't very good in my opinion but with the magic of patience and the eq of a active bass I managed to dial an acceptable tone.

The toneprint feature is definitely great though, and makes up for the crap sound for the most part.
