This question is for the RH750 amp owners who still have and play their bass with this amp. Just wanted to know how this amp holding up for you. are the knobs and buttons still intacted!? We all know that this is the problem with this amp. The knobs break of or fall out because they are made of plastic. And the buttons gets cracked up after awhile. Who of you owners of the RH750 that still have the amp in your possession that never had any knobs fallen off, broken or had cracked buttons since the day you got the amp!?

I have both an RH450 and an RH750 that I have owned for 5 years now. Cleaning my amp one time I rested the knobs on my leg and I immediately felt a knob break. So I contacted TC and they sent me out the newer knobs with much thicker nubs on the inside for both of my amps even though only one had 1 broken knob. Have not had a problem ever since and I use them a lot.

I've had a RH750 for a few years now that I bought used. I had a knob that was loose and when I checked them all about half of them were missing some of the little nubs inside. I called TC and they sent me out a whole new set. I've never had any problems with the buttons but it may be because I found a nice laptop case at a thrift store that protects the whole amp perfectly and has room for cables as well.
I eventually bought some rubber knobs from knobeez.com for my bass guitar and found that they are also a match for the amp knobs. They have a nicer feel to them and will never break on you. It's a nice upgrade at about $5 per knob and you can also get them in colors if you want to get creative.

Thanks for sharing your experienced with this amp. I just picked one up and i only had it for a month or so.. I guess i have to be extra careful with the knobs not to bang on anything. Just can’t believe on some of the reviews i’ve read. One owner of Rh750 mentioned that he never brought his amp out and it stayed only at the rehearsal room but yet the knobs were falling out!. I was thinking like Are they that brittle that even vibration can cause the knobs to fall out!??? Lol!

I don't know about them falling off by themselves, lol, but the original knobs did have very skinny splines that could break pretty easily.

The newer ones have much thicker nubs that I can't even imagine how they could break. And they are not difficult to put on. They slide right in easily.

Again thanks! I’m hoping that the amp i just got had been revised with newer knobs. But still have to be careful with them though of being hit knowing the fact that they are still plastics.

I'm searching for a new set of knobs for my RH750 as well, but am trying to source some stateside. Any suggestions on sizes, or links to share? Not afraid to search for non-OEM replacements.

Lots of previous posts on this subject caused me to contact TC Electronic as suggested by others and ask for newer improved knobs. They asked for serial number of amp to verify my ownership and promptly sent me replacement knobs. They have now been on amp for a couple years and have been problem free. Not sure if they’re still doing this but was a simple easy fix. Email them and find out. They had the knobs to me in a week.
