The Chicken??

Hi, does anyone know what grade you would call The Chicken by Jaco Pastorius? ABRSM/Rockschool

I am using the Essential Jaco Pastorius transcription if that's any help. Thanks

EDIT: For anyone wondering, grades are something in the UK that judges a persons ability on an instrument. Grade 5-6 is considered entering into intermediate. To get into a music degree programme, you need to be grade 8.

We yanks, are not graded, the blokes from the UK and Canada take tests and are graded. Speaks volumes about their education system...

I would say grade 7-8, you just need to be competent enough with chicken picking.

Intermediate. It's an easy song when in Jaco land, but not as easy in relation to other songs. I don't know any beginners who can play 16th notes that fast, so I think of it as intermediate as far as skill is concerned.
