The Fender Rumble Cabs of HiFi?

So the Fender Rumble cabs get a lot of praise 'round these parts for a nice vintage-y sounding cab, that's well built and very competitively priced. And I'd agree as I own a pair. Likely the current king of budget vintage voiced cabs.

So my question. Who is the king of the budget HiFi sound?

+1 with TopCat's recommendation of Avatar's SB123 bass cabinet for affordable hi-fi.

I don't own a 123 (but, I've been gigging two of Avatar's 210 cabinets for going onto 10 years, LOVE them) and the T.B. reviews of the SB123 have all been positive.
Enough so that I'm considering getting one just to see what all the excitement is over three way cabinets.

Upon mocking up both the Avatar and the fEarful equivalent and SpeakerHardware.com, the fEarful deluxe pack is about the same price, I have the ability to at least assemble the flat pack, so I don't know that'd it'd be worth it to go with the Avatar.

+1....With your wood working skills that might be the way to go.

Don't forget, (if I remember correctly) there's things you'll need that aren't included in the packs (maybe they are in the deluxe packs), grills, handles, tolex/bedliner, x-over up-grades, glue, insulation, ect.,
And the cost of your time should be added in too.

For me the Avatar would be the way to go.
I've honestly "0", and I mean "zero" wood working skills!
And absolutely NO time to mess with a building project.

Best of luck with your choice!
