My benchmark for guitar-maker marketing insanity/bad taste is, and probably always will be, the Gibson "Zoot Suit" SG. Perfect instrument to play at an Italian funeral: pure spumoni.

Sure, I realize zoot suits were often brightly colored, but I just did a quick Yahoo search and can't find a pic of one quite like your SG.
I think Spumoni is definitely a better name.

I really hate the way people have become so faddy and addicted to entertainment based clutter. I'm a fan of the show, but seriously, in a few years, when all the buzz is gone, these will just be "what were they thinking" guitars and either be worthless, or possibly valuable collector's items if they don't move a lot of them.

That said, I really do like the look of the Targaryan model. I don't usually go in for fancy looking instruments, but if they made one of those in a 5 string P, my gas would resurface.....

after watching the video, i do like the detail and creativity they put into these designs. there's a lot of thought there, not just forcing a popular show onto an instrument.
