Thanks to jmattbassplaya for this idea. Let's give this a run and see how it goes.
This thread will be a place to swap gigs, share bills, find opening acts, etc. So if you'd like to swap gigs with another TBer, post them here.
Here's a few things that would make things a little easier:
1. Put a link to your band in your signature, so someone can readily see if your band would fit with theirs or the venue.
2. Make sure you have your location filled in your profile, so that people can readily see where you are from.
3. In your post, state whether you want to host an out of town band, or be a guest of another band and the town you are headed to. You should include locations, dates, and the genre of music in your post.
4. Once you've reached something with a band, please do your communication and logistics through PM.
Obviously, TB won't assume any responsibility or liability for what happens. So, if a fellow TBer drinks all the beer in your fridge or clogs up your toilet when they crash at your house, plays Grindcore on your acoustic folk showcase or the gui**** spills a drink on your rig, it's not on us. You should take all the same precautions as you would in any classified ad on TB or elsewhere.
With all that said, let's all help each other get our music out there and working.
