I just put together my latest rig. I wanted something light weight and powerful. After appreciating Darkglass' work on the preamp of my NG-2, I went with a Microtubes 900. For the cab, I wanted something in 4 ohms to maximize the potential of the M900. I've generally been a 4 x 10" player but I tried out a Genzler Magellan 212T and was really impressed. It called to me and I pulled the trigger.

I just spent the last hour running it. I think it is going to be a killer rig. So far I've only run it at low volumes but am psyched to pull it out in the band setting.

Here's a pic of the new rig.

Nice! I also looked at the Genzler 212T however ended up going with the Bergantino CN212, mostly as one came up second hand :D

As much as I love my tube amps the Darkglass and 2x12 is fast becoming my favourite rig. Really portable and in my opinion very little sacrifice in tone from the tube amps. Definitely more hi-fi however.
