The term "Lawsuit era" gets thrown around without any basis (unless you actually own one of the Ibanez guitars that were actually involved in a suit with Gibson). Now you can get a real lawsuit guitar on the cheap. We all know how a good lawsuit will drive the value up......

I read that article earlier this week. Those toys are expensive to begin with. I don't get the investment toy market. At least collectable basses can be taken out of the case and played.

After reading some of the stuff around here regarding Gibson's stuff, I'd say that their concerns about people thinking Gibson actually made those just-barely-looks-like-guitars, was well founded...

Can’t wait to hear what Rickenbacker has to say about the Lemmy figure. It’s actually done very well, lots of humorous detail. You can find these things on EBay at reasonable prices if you wait long enough. GC has them marked way up, trying to catch the impulse buyers.

Gibson can't sue over that.
