Had to part ways with the 810 last year, wanted to downsize. I was thinking of going with a Fender Rumble 1x15 4 ohms to start with, and maybe later adding another 4 ohm cab to the mix. Opinions advice.
As far as I know. ..the Rumble V3 115 cabs are 8 ohms. .. enabling you to use 2 of em with a Rumble amp head. They've a 4 ohm minimum. The all tube SVTs only function at stated safe operating. ...at 2 or 4 ohms. Some do use em at 8 ohm, but it isn't recommended - again. ...afaik
Why don't you get a 4 ohm Ampeg 115 cab? I run two B-15T 4 ohm single 15" cabs with an SVT and while they sound good they don't compare with my 8 x 10 cabs. I bought a PR-410HLF a few years ago for pretty low money (350.00?) and the thing will blow away any single 15" cab, it weighs a ton though but is worth it for the great sound it has.
Basically, I need to go compact with it right now. This one is local so I can lay it away. Most of the places around my area a 115 will be enough with a SVT.
