Thoughts on pairing a Fender Bassman 100 with an Ampeg 610HLF?

Yep I said Fender in the title. I most likely will end up just finding one to try before I buy, I was just wondering if anyone had opinions
You should compare the Bassman 100 with the Ampeg V4B (which would be my choice)

I bet it is a great match. I have an Ampeg V4B w/ 610. I also have a 410 and a 810. All good.

Why are you interested in the Bassman? Do you need the two channels?

I don't need two channels, but I recently played through one at a small festival where it was the backline amp (along with matching cab, not sure what speakers were in there) and I absolutely loved the way it sounded with my Rickenbacker 4001
