Ok, unlike other Jazz Flat threads I don't want to ask about how good they are, or how noodle like, or not noodle like or anything else (though I don't mind reading about how lovely they are)!. My goal here is to find videos of artists playing them, preferably in a mix. Pino with Mayer is really the only group I know I can look up and find something.
So, please share any TI jazz flat bassists performing on these strings. For the record, I currently run my Jazz Flats on a Road Worn Jazz bass with Nordstrand Big J Blade pickups. Great for tone I'm looking for.
Bright Moments

Here's one with Carol Kaye and Les Paul from 2000... she was playing TI Flats by then, and I suspect that's what she's playing here:

The silk on those strings don't look red to me the way they should if they were in fact TIJFs.

Agreed, but I think they sound like TI Flats, and I confirmed on her website that she was using them by this time. I do concede that they might in fact not be TI Flats, but if basing that solely on the color of the silks, in my opinion, this is not an especially high-fidelity video clip.

Of course, it's also possible that that is not her bass. This post here:

Ibanez SRX-700 endorsed by Carol Kaye

suggests that she moved to her current Ibanzez in 2004. Was she using a Fender Precision in 2000?

Great video though, and as to the silk color, it could be so any things including stage lighting effects on color. But, was a great watch though, she had Les Pauls attention throughout lol
Thanks,
