Tobias Toby Pro V Brothers

My son and I both own Tobias Toby Pro V basses. Both upgraded with Bartolini electronics and pickups. These Korean basses are excellent basses and with the Bartolini electronics, they have excellent tone! I got mine when an opportunity came up on TB after my son had his for a few years. These aren't going anywhere. I have temporary possession of my son's bass so I snapped this pic.

whooaaa... not so fast there, those look sweet! ...this needs more investigation.
I can't put my cheap ass Epi Toby down, it's simply intoxicating, there is something special going on with these Tobys! Those Pros look killer and if they're better than what I got then I'm after one, especially with prices in the dipping into the same range as the Epis. what is it that makes these lil devils SO enjoyable?
