I have been very lucky lately and have collected a few nostalgia bombs
The one i use on a daily basis on our rehersals is a supernice GP12SMX combo 4x10 with an additional 4x10 TE cab in mint condition - its a killer combination!!! Its loud and it sounds awesome! Dont need anything else...ever!
I`ve also got a very nice and woolly GP7 SM 150 head...Great as a spare, or in the man-cave.
Then i have this Series 6 GP12 (AH200 it says on the back). It plays loud and clear with "Graphic" not enabled and when "Mid Pre Shape" is enabled. When enabling "Graphic"--- its weak, and i cant adjust graphics..
Any idea how i can fix this?
Next up is a TE PPA1200 that i have tried to pair with a GP12SMX stereo pre-amp, however - i cant get it to play very loud. Tried both channels. Also connected with one 8ohm cab, or two, but still no luck. I know it should be much louder. Any idea what im doing wrong?
EDIT: im an idiot! I had used the DI port to connect pre-amp to power amp... well, full-range-line-output made a DIFFERENCE
Still, one more question - since this is a stero pre-amp, can i connect "right input" to channel A on the power amp, and then "left input" to channel B?
